Dreamers within the dream, within the dream...
we are dreamers within
the dream.
Spiritual teachers who are enlightened all teach that what most term reality is in fact a dream, and we are a dreamer within the dream.
Fundamentally there is only one substance, one form of reality that everything is made of, including you and me.
Our true state is that we inhere in the Divine, we are appearing out of the one form.
Instead we tend believe the Divine inheres in us as a separate someone, and we identify with objects, with our subjectivity believing our thoughts and mind and body to be reality, and we become so distracted that for many this all we see.
Consciousness or the essence of ourselves is Non Dual. Yet what the ordinary mind relates to and sees is duality, and keeps perpetuating this point of view.
As we engage in a spiritual practice we have realisations that all things are ,impermanent, and unable to ultimately satisfy us. As these insights take hold, not intellectually but intuitively felt, a letting-go of the unreal naturally evolves through grace. And for a nondualist, this dissolving of the illusory is the most important step toward realisation of Reality and Truth.
